  • 4 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold)
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix pitted cherries, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until cherries are fully coated.
  3. Roll out half of the pie dough into a circle and fit into a 9-inch pie pan. Pour in the cherry filling.
