- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3–4 tbsp iced water
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Add cubed butter and mix until coarse crumbs form. Gradually add iced water until the dough just comes together. Shape into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least an hour.
- Slice the Peaches: While the dough chills, slice the peaches and toss them with brown sugar in a bowl.
- Roll Out the Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface into a rough 12-inch circle.
- Assemble the Galette: Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange peach slices in the center, fold edges over peaches, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
