Drizzled with sweet honey and infused with aromatic tarragon, this dish is an unforgettable treat that effortlessly elevates any meal. Perfect for entertaining or as a luxurious addition to salads, it’s both visually stunning and deliciously satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz goat cheese log
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Set up a dredging station: one bowl with beaten eggs, another with panko mixed with tarragon, and a third empty bowl.
  2. Slice goat cheese into half-inch rounds.
  3. Dip each round in the beaten eggs until fully coated.
  4. Coat the egg-dipped rounds in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently for an even coating.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Fry each round until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil and drizzle with honey before serving.
