Description

Grilled nectarines with yogurt and honey is a refreshing summer dessert that marries the natural sweetness of ripe nectarines with creamy Greek yogurt and a luscious drizzle of honey. Grilling caramelizes the sugars in the nectarines, enhancing their flavor while creating a delightful contrast with the cool, tangy yogurt. This simple yet impressive dish is perfect for summer barbecues, picnics, or as a light snack anytime. Enjoy a vibrant treat that celebrates seasonal fruit in a delicious way!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F/175°C).
  2. Wash and halve the nectarines, removing the pits. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place the halved nectarines cut-side down on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear.
  4. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle in honey while whisking until combined.
  5. Once grilled, arrange nectarines cut-side up on plates. Spoon the yogurt mixture over each half and drizzle with extra honey if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
