Description

Mini Apple Hand Pies with Puff Pastry are delightful, bite-sized treats that effortlessly combine flaky, golden pastry with a luscious filling of spiced apples.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Fuji)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss diced apples with cinnamon, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of apple mixture on one half of each circle. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
