Ingredients

  • 6 fresh oranges (about 2 cups juice)
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash and roll the oranges on a hard surface to release their juices, then cut in half.
  2. Juice the oranges until you have about 2 cups of fresh orange juice.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the orange juice with 4 cups of filtered water and ½ cup sugar; stir until well combined.
  4. Add ¼ cup fresh lime juice for extra zing and stir again.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least one hour before serving over ice.
