Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 fresh lemons (for about 1 cup lemon juice)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • Zest from 12 lemons

Instructions

  3. Blend lemon juice, cooled sugar syrup, basil leaves, and lemon zest until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for about 2 hours until partially frozen.
  5. Blend again briefly to break up ice crystals, then return to the freezer for at least another 4 hours until fully set.
