Ingredients

Cake Base
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix plus ingredients required on the box
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
Frosting
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting store-bought or homemade
Coating
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips for coating
  • 1 cup red and blue sprinkles for decoration

Method

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
Make Cake Balls
  1. Once the cake is cool, crumble it into a large bowl.
  2. Add the cream cheese frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  3. Using a cookie scoop, form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Coat the Cake Balls
  1. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
  3. Immediately sprinkle with red and blue sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  4. Let the chocolate harden before serving.
