Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 lean
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
Taco Assembly
  • 8 count taco shells hard or soft
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Place taco shells in a baking dish.
  2. Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Bake the Tacos
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serve
  1. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream before serving.
