Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
- Add warm milk and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape the Cruffins
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Brush the surface with melted butter.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other to form a log.
- Cut the log into 8 equal pieces and place each piece in a greased muffin tin.
Bake and Finish

- Let the cruffins rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Brush the warm cruffins with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
