Breading the Chicken
- Coat each piece of chicken in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in the egg, letting excess drip off, then coat in the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Cooking
- Place the chicken in the air-fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for about 5 minutes per side, turning until just cooked through.
- Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Cook an additional 3 minutes at 400°F until the cheese is melted and golden.
