Method
- Pat the salmon cubes dry thoroughly with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add salmon and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the salmon and toss again for even coating.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Spray basket lightly with cooking spray.
- Place salmon in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
- While salmon cooks, make glaze. In saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer 2 minutes. Add cornstarch slurry (1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water) and whisk until thickened. Remove from heat.
- Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl. Pour glaze over and gently toss to coat.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately with rice or vegetables.
