Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder optional
  • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • Oven
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Large bowl
  • paper towels

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle the wings with the olive oil and toss well, making sure each wing is coated with a bit of olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken wings with the pepper and salt, and toss well. If using baking powder, sprinkle it all over the wings then toss well.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking pan. Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until they're golden crisp.
  5. Sprinkle with more salt and pepper if preferred and garnish with some chopped parsley.
