Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl: flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars in a separate bowl until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until fully incorporated.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and any festive sprinkles if desired.
  7. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
