Ingredients

  • 1 slice Bread of choice
  • 1 ball Burrata
  • 2 slices Prosciutto
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Panko breadcrumbs to taste
  • Fry oil as needed

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • Shallow bowl

Method

  1. Add breadcrumbs to a shallow bowl. Carefully, separate egg yolk from the whites. Using your spoon, create a well in the breadcrumbs and add your yolks to the well.
  2. Cover with breadcrumbs and freeze for 2 hours (you can freeze for longer if you want but at least 2 hours).
  3. Add fry oil to a pan and fry yolks for about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to overcook.
  4. Coat bread in olive oil and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Meanwhile, add burrata to toast and top with prosciutto and egg yolk. Enjoy!
