Ingredients
  

Steak and Rice
  • 1 pound Flank steak or sirloin
  • 2 cups Cooked rice white or brown
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar for marinade
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 1 cup Vegetables such as sliced bell peppers, carrots, and green onions
Spicy Cream Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey optional for sweetness

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
Make the Spicy Cream Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, Sriracha, lime juice, and honey until smooth.
Assemble the Bowls
  1. In serving bowls, place a scoop of cooked rice, top with sliced steak, and add a variety of vegetables.
  2. Drizzle the spicy cream sauce over the top and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
