Miso Ramen Deviled Eggs

Ingredients
  

Eggs
  • 6 large eggs hard-boiled
Filling
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste white or yellow
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise preferably Japanese
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha optional for heat
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Eggs
  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes, then peel the eggs.
Make the Filling
  1. Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yolks, miso paste, mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sriracha. Whisk until smooth.
Assemble the Deviled Eggs
  1. Spoon or pipe the miso filling back into the egg whites.
  2. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

These deviled eggs can be made a few hours in advance. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
