Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 2 pounds Russet Potatoes Thinly sliced
Cream Mixture
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme Dried
Cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated

Method
 

Prepare the Potatoes
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and thinly slice the Russet potatoes using a mandoline slicer.
Make the Cream Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
Assemble the Dish
  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes on the sheet pan.
  2. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes, followed by half of the cheddar and parmesan cheese.
  3. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
Bake
  1. Cover the sheet pan with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Serve
  1. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
