Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage optional for color
Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, shredded carrots, and shredded purple cabbage.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated. Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
