  • 1 lb fresh or frozen gnocchi
  • 1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated
  • 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot, then cook the gnocchi until they float (about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in heavy cream until combined, then add half the Pecorino Romano and black pepper.
  4. Toss cooked gnocchi with the sauce, transfer to the baking dish, top with remaining cheese and more pepper.
